From 1992 to 2005, Cathy held several finance positions, including Controller, with a mid-sized government services contractor, who grew from $10 million to $100 million during those years. Cathy has been in private practice and has assisted government contractors with implementation of FAR-compliant cost accounting systems, DCAA and IRS audits, budgeting indirect rates, establishing bank financing, and preparing income tax returns. Cathy has been directly involved in several successful business acquisitions and has assisted both the buyer and seller with merger negotiation, execution, and integration. Cathy is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Cathy enjoys traveling and boating with her husband, as well as bicycling, gardening, and listening to music.
